Getting there & the terminal
Corsica Ferries departs from the Gare Maritime at Quai L'Herminier in Propriano (20110 Propriano), right in the town's commercial harbour. Propriano sits on the T40 between Ajaccio and Bonifacio, around an hour's drive south of Ajaccio.
Check-in & departure
- With a vehicle: no later than one hour before departure; in high season Corsica Ferries recommends 90 minutes.
- On foot: no later than 30 minutes before departure.
After this deadline, booked boarding is no longer guaranteed; the ship may depart up to 30 minutes ahead of the stated time. Carry ID for all travellers - the crossing runs from France to Italy.
Vehicles, bikes & pets

Arrival & onward travel
Corsica Ferries docks in Porto Torres at the Stazione Marittima. The SS131 takes you to Sassari and Cagliari, the SP42 to Alghero, and the SP90 along the north coast towards Santa Teresa di Gallura.

Corsica Ferries distinguishes between standard fares (changeable, non-refundable) and flex fares. Since there are only occasional sailings, book your outbound and return together - if the date falls through, Bonifacio is the way to go instead.

Propriano lies in the Gulf of Valinco on Corsica's southwest coast. Corsica Ferries mainly serves Toulon from here; to Sardinia there are only occasional sailings, most recently in September and October.
The crossing to Porto Torres takes around four hours and runs as a day sailing. If you need to travel on a different day, Bonifacio - Santa Teresa di Gallura is the alternative.
