Getting there & terminal
The Asinara ferry departs Porto Torres from Molo Segni, not the Stazione Marittima used by the mainland ferries. You can reach Porto Torres via the SS131 from Sassari, the SP42 from Alghero, or the SP90 from the north coast. Since private cars aren't allowed on the island, your vehicle stays in Porto Torres.
The line is operated by Delcomar and marketed under the name Ensamar; you'll find the timetables there as well as in the timetable.
Check-in & departure
The boarding deadline is printed on your Delcomar ticket; once it passes, the right to travel lapses. Since only foot passengers, bikes and e-vehicles travel, the process is quick, but still be at the mole in good time, departures are full in high season. For discounted fares you need to show valid ID both when buying and when boarding.
Vehicle, bike & pet
Motor traffic is banned in Asinara National Park, except for service vehicles and visitor vehicles approved by the park authority. Bicycles and electric vehicles may travel on the ferry, but no private car, motorbike or motorhome. Bicycles pay their own fare.

Arrival & onward travel
On the island you get around on foot, by bike, or with vehicles authorised by the park. Plan your day around the return crossing: the last ferry leaves in the afternoon, and in the low season there are only two departures a day, with none at all on four of the seven days.
Tickets & fares
Booking runs through the booking window above; the from-price comes live from the operator's data. Discounted fares apply to children aged 4 to 12, people with disabilities and those over 70, children up to 3 travel free; residents of Porto Torres get a special fare. The return ticket is valid for the trip back until the following operating day.

Into Asinara National Park
Asinara lies right off Porto Torres and is protected as a national park, once a quarantine station and high-security prison, today car-free and famous for its white donkeys. The scheduled ferry is the only regular way onto the island.
Delcomar runs year-round from Molo Segni: daily with two departures from May to September, three in high summer, and only Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from October to April. Private cars aren't allowed on the island, nor are dogs and cats.

Can I take my car to Asinara?+
No. Private motor vehicles are banned in the national park; only with express permission from the park authority can motor vehicles come ashore. You may bring electric vehicles and bicycles on board, but the car stays in Porto Torres. Everything about vehicles on the other routes is on Motorhomes on the ferry.
Can my dog come to Asinara?+
